Forest Distillery Whisky Blend Twenty-Six is the 26th edition of blended whisky from English Distillery Forest Whisky is in very short supply - this is one of a very few bottles remaining.
Made up of whiskies over 8 years old which have been finished in Oloroso Sherry casks. The blend changes slightly each time but has toffee and caramel at its core. Add to this juicy, ripe fruit. Yum!
Distilled from Cheshire barley and oats, this has been made with its own spring water and wild yeast. It was then matured in oak underneath the distillery (which, at 1689 feet, is Britain's highest altitude whisky distillery), It's then rested in new English Oak casks.
At 47% Alc. this whisky was bottled in polished black porcelain bottles with a papercut by the artist Georgia Low, glazed with real gold.
