A rich and honeyed 10 year old tawny port from one of the Porto’s first port houses, Kopke
- An appealing golden colour, with an amber rim

- Aromas of spice, with prevailing notes of dried fruit and elegant hints of wood and honey
- Smooth and round on the palate, it shows complexity amidst intense flavours of dried fruit
- Lush, rich and silky smooth with white chocolate, caramel, almond and hazelnuts flavours lingering in the mouth
- An excellent finish
Irresistible with a starter of foie gras with aubergine and walnuts. A great choice for an endless array of desserts. Such as toffee brownies, chocolate and pistachio pavé or crostini of walnuts with chèvre. Best served at a temperature between 12 and 14°C.
Kopke 10 year old tawny port was awarded a Gold medal and 95pts at Decanter World Wine Awards 2021.
Established in 1638 by Christiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke. They came to Portugal as representatives of the Hanseatic League. The House of Kopke is the eldest porto wine export firm.
In June 2006, the Sogevinus Group extends its influence throughout the port wine sector through the acquisition of C. N. Kopke. Nowadays Kopke is the oldest porto wine brand and assumes the leadership in the ‘Porto Colheita’ category.
Befitting their status as the oldest port house, their bottles are easily recognisable by their traditional and hand-stencilled style.
