Lyme Bay Pinot Noir Rose Reserve 2022
TASTING NOTES
Sourced from the Crouch Valley in Essex and hand harvested between the 11th and 25th of October 2022. Half the wine was fermented in 4th and 5th fill French barrels to help give the wine depth and complexity; the other half was fermented in stainless steel to retain a bright fruit character. The wine went through 100% malolactic fermentation and regular battonage to accentuate the weight and body of the style, before blending and bottling.
A delicate fruit forward aroma of red berries and orange peel with gentle vanilla oak on the nose. A subtle and complex palate full of strawberries, raspberries, and redcurrants, with a lightly spiced, creamy finish. Perfect with pasta dishes and cheeses.
