A full, intense garnet red appearance and a nose that manages to be both fruity - conjuring up red berries, raspberries and wild strawberries, then at the same time spicy, with hints of cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg and vanilla, withered violets and roses, and at times liquorice, cocoa, tobacco and leather.
