Babylonstoren Viognier 2023
This summer staple was produced at Babylonstoren in the Franschhoek wine region of South Africa. While 70% of this wine underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 30% of it was fermented and matured in second- and third-fill French oak barrels before being blended together and bottled. The result is a delicate and nuanced wine with layers of fresh pear and peaches, rounded off with a round and creamy mouthfeel.
