Henstone Distillery Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky, 70cl
Henstone Distillery's Cask Strength Single Malt English Whisky has been bottled at a cask strength of 62.9% Alc.It was aged in an American Standard, 200 litre barrel on the 26th of November 2020 and was disgorged on the 17th of July 2024 making it about 3 years and 8 months old.
Every whisky release from Henstone actually comes from a single cask meaning they are limited to around 300 – 350 bottles per distillation run and each one is mashed, distilled, aged and bottled at Henstone Distillery. This particular cask yielded only 270 bottles. Like all of their products, this whisky has not been chill filtered or coloured.
This whisky differs from their others in that the whisky strength in the cask at the time of bottling is preserved with no water added before bottling, as is common. This means that you can add your desired amount of water (or none at all!) to enjoy the flavours across different strength profiles.

Henstone Distillery is an English distillery that makes whisky, gin, vodka, apple brandy, and a corn liquor. It was established in Shropshire in 2017. The spirits are made in a 1,000 litre still named Hilda. Henstone is one of a small number of distilleries south of the Scottish border making thteir own wash (the beer that is distilled to produce whisky) on site. We have a philosophy of using only the finest malted barley to produce a distinctive and characteristic new-make spirit.
